About the Role

As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering precise prescription processing and outstanding patient care. Your meticulous attention to detail and expertise will enhance our compounding pharmacy operations, leveraging our advanced pharmacy management system to ensure efficient and seamless medication management.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter prescription and medication data accurately into pharmacy systems.
• Process payments for prescriptions and services.
• Manage patient refills and medication orders.
• Verify dosages and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date transaction records.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management and medication supply tracking.

Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2 years of certified pharmacy technician experience (compounding pharmacy experience preferred).
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and data management systems (LifeFile, Digital Rx, or Pioneer Rx a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for 8-hour shifts.
• Must be able to commute to Houston, TX 77375.
