About the Role: Intake Coordinator

We’re currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This vital position is responsible for managing the intake process for all patient referrals received via phone, fax, or through our Marketing team. You'll interact regularly with patients, insurance companies, and clinical staff, so strong communication and organizational skills are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Follow up with the Insurance Verification department
• Coordinate with internal staff to ensure seamless patient onboarding
• Maintain accurate records using home health software and Microsoft Office tools
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare partners

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
• Experience with home health software, particularly MatrixCare (preferred)
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting (Home Health experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with medical terminology or a healthcare license is beneficial but not mandatory

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday
• In-person position based in Springfield
