Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Assistant Manager w orks with the Shipping/Receiving Manager to guide the team in handling inventory, including shipping, and receiving. Helps organize the movement of raw materials and finished products to meet customer delivery needs. Promotes a safe and team-focused work environment. Also helps in other areas like accounting, safety, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming raw materials.
• Enter customer PO’s into SAP(WMS)
• Coordinate with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of finished goods
• Track and maintain accurate inventory levels, in SAP, of raw materials and finished goods.
• Review delivery schedule and coordinate freight requirements
• Performs daily safety inspections of area, correcting/reporting identified hazards as necessary.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills required
• Forklift is a plus
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Previous experience with production, shipping and receiving. 
• Bill of Lad or Warehouse Management System experience
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the company
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and accuracy
• Demonstrated organizational, time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift as needed
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Location : Shafter, CA

Pay Range : $22-25/hour
