Responsibilities

  • Support the Records Management Group (RMG) for a US government customer, ensuring compliance with the Federal Records Management Act, statutes, regulations, and policies, including CFR, USC, and NARA mandates.
  • Assist in training and supporting the customer workforce to meet records management requirements, including developing Records Control Schedules (RCS) and guiding on best practices throughout the record lifecycle.
  • Implement and evaluate RCSs for both paper and electronic records, coordinating with NARA and supporting a media-neutral approach.
  • Perform physical records archiving as directed.
  • Draft, review, update, and deliver training content on records management.
  • Provide support and training on records management to customer personnel.
  • Coordinate with IC elements on records policies, handle classified and CUI records, and support IC records management committees.
  • Advise on reordering and cleaning Shared Drives, and support ERMS implementation.
  • Identify, document, and coordinate Privacy Act SORN with the Civil Liberties, Privacy, and Transparency office.
  • Develop plans for records identification and protection.
  • Contribute to annual compliance reports.
  • Support records management system reviews and implementations.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS with 3+ years of experience or no degree with 9 years of experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
  • Experience with IC records management, compliance, RCS implementation, and NARA guidance.
  • Strong organization skills, SOP development, and communication skills across government levels.
