Scheduled Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 9p-5:30a/finish, occasional weekends

Estimated Hours Per Week: 40+ hour, Full Time

Ideal Candidate Criteria : The Production Worker – Nights (Sanitation) is responsible for cleaning the equipment inside, following SQF procedures and ensuring paperwork is filled out. Employee will working alongside our quality team.

Location: San Marcos, Ca - At this time, we are only considering local candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Job Duties:

• Follow quality inspection standards and remove food products not meeting quality standards and follow company sanitation procedures.
• Cleans plant drains and floors.
• Assist plant personnel with general house cleaning throughout the shift in accordance with the company GMP’s. Regular housekeeping duties to include cleaning and restocking employee areas and plant sanitations of sinks, emptying plant trash, floor cleaning, cleaning drains. Cleaning of floors and exterior of all equipment.
• Ensure paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, accurate format and ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Excellence attendance and punctuality.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on occasion.
• Work on the empty case dock moving stacks of empty cases as needed.
• May work in a cold environment which averages 35 degrees Fahrenheit. May work outdoors.
• Requires the ability to speak and understand English.
• Heavy labor experience in a similar environment is preferred.
• Prompt and regular attendance as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
