Enjoy the convenience of reviewing cases remotely. Reviewer Duties Provide final determinations regarding medical necessity and quality of care issues. Make fair and unbiased decisions based on current evidence-based practice and standards of care. Basic Qualifications Have at least five (5) years of full-time equivalent experience providing direct clinical care to patients. Active clinical practice at least 20 hours a week (and board certification when applicable) for a minimum of 3 years, providing patient care in the specialty for which they will perform peer review. Possess a current license or certification in a health profession from at least one State. Board-certified as applicable MD/DO. Must have board certification within the specialty to be reviewed. No active sanction or disciplinary actions on licensure. Ensure that specialty qualifications, including role and responsibilities, are clearly listed in your CV/resume.
