Owner Operator-Class A at Clean Harbors summary:

The Owner Operator-Class A at Clean Harbors operates tractor trailer units on long-haul routes from the Northeast to Cincinnati, carrying hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to all safety and DOT regulations. The role involves managing vehicle inspections, logs, and reports, ensuring safe loading and unloading practices, and maintaining compliance with health and safety policies. Compensation includes mileage pay, demurrage, and non-asset hourly rates with bi-weekly home time and an average annual income of $200-250K.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team! This route runs from the Northeast to Cincinnati, OH and averages 2600-2800 miles per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
