Job Summary
The Outreach and Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in fostering relationships between our organization and the community, both in person and online. This position is responsible for promoting our services, engaging with individuals in the local areas of each practice, and maintaining our online presence. Additionally, the Outreach and Marketing Assistant will operate under the guidance of managing directors and collaborate closely with marketing consultants to ensure alignment with our strategic goals and maximize our outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for community service, and a working background in the mental health or healthcare and wellness industry.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and residents to promote awareness of our services.
- Conduct outreach activities to educate the community about available resources and support services.
- Collaborate with local agencies to coordinate events and programs that address community needs.
- Complete research to assess clients needs and improve service delivery.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, workshops, and events to advocate for our mission.
- Prepare reports on outreach activities and community engagement efforts.
Experience
- A background in social work, psychology, or a closely related field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the local mental healthcare landscape and some knowledge of important organizations, including the school systems, city governments, or nonprofit entities, is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations are essential.
- The candidate must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20-25 per week
Schedule: - Evening shift - Morning shift - Weekends as needed
Willingness to travel: - 50% (Required) stipend for mileage
