KBA (Koenig & Bauer) sheetfed presses ? Ready to work with the best in high-quality print production? Millennium Print Group (MPG) is hiring skilled operators to join our state-of-the-art pressroom in Raleigh, NC. We're the world's largest producer of trading cards, and our press operators are the driving force behind our world-class print quality.
Your Role as an Offset Press Operator: - Operate High-End Equipment: Run advanced Komori LS/GL series and KBA Rapida multicolor sheetfed offset presses (5-color, 6-color, 8-color, 12-color) for premium trading card production.
- Execute Precise Make-Readies: Perform press setup, color matching, registration, and makeready activities to meet tight production timelines.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor color consistency, dot gain, and print quality using G7 color theory , LAB values , gray balance, and ink density adjustments.
- Maximize Efficiency: Maintain optimal run speeds while minimizing waste and downtime.
- Troubleshoot & Maintain: Identify mechanical issues, perform minor repairs, and ensure proper preventative maintenance on Komori or KBA presses.
- Document & Report: Log job data accurately, including time, material usage, and quality checks.
- Prioritize Safety: Follow standard safety protocols and manage occasional heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs).
What You Bring to the Pressroom: - Industry Experience: 10+ years operating offset sheetfed presses in high-quality commercial, packaging, or specialty print environments.
- Komori or KBA Expertise: Hands-on experience running Komori or KBA Rapida presses, especially in 40" or greater multicolor configurations.
- Advanced Color Skills: Proficiency in color calibration , ink management , and branded color reproduction using G7-certified techniques .
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with UV curing systems , specialty coatings (e.g., MotionCoat™), and inline quality control technology.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Location: Raleigh, NC
Schedule: Full-time, on-site. 6-8 weeks of day shift training, regular schedule being a 12-hour night shift rotation 2-2-3-2 schedule (7pm - 7am)
