Non-Paid Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach Eastern Washington University is seeking a Non-Paid Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach. This is a full-time, on-site role in Spokane, WA. The Assistant Coach will assist in planning and implementing training programs, provide support during practices and competitions, help with recruiting efforts, and ensure compliance with NCAA regulations. Other day-to-day tasks include analyzing athlete performance, providing feedback, setting up equipment, and fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities Assist in planning and implementing training programs for cross country and track teams Provide support during practices and competitions Help with recruiting efforts and NCAA compliance Analyze athlete performance and provide feedback Set up equipment and maintain practice facilities Foster a positive team environment Qualifications Experience in coaching cross country and track Strong understanding of training programs and athlete development Knowledge of NCAA regulations and compliance procedures Excellent communication and motivational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group Bachelor's degree in a related field Prior experience as a coach or athlete at the collegiate level is a plus First Aid and CPR certification Company and Location Eastern Washington University is located in Cheney, Washington, with additional programs in Spokane, Bellevue, Everett, and Vancouver, Washington. The university offers NCAA Division I athletics, over 150 study areas, and a student-to-faculty ratio of 22 to 1.
