Job Description

Our client, a leading supplier in the plastics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Technician to join their team. As a Machine Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting both Production and Facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Machine Technician

Location:  Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $20 – $28 per hour, depending on experience

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventative and annual maintenance on machines

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and technical issues

• Install and assist with setup of machinery

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and coordinate vendor repairs

• Support facility repairs and general upkeep 
  

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in machine maintenance and repair OR relevant vocational training

• Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods

• Ability to work safely in a machine shop/warehouse environment
