LPN Correctional Nurse at Southern Health Partners summary:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing patient care in a correctional facility, responsible for administering medications, assessing symptoms, and following treatment plans under state guidelines. Works primarily night shift in a secure jail environment, ensuring emergency interventions and critical thinking are applied. Supports inmate health while operating within correctional healthcare standards and state scope of practice.

Find your rewarding experience by joining our team at: Location: Laurens County Jail Open Position: FT LPN Schedule: 12 hr Night Shift Rotation, 6:45a - 7:15p w/Alternating Weekends Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow through with established treatment plans
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
