Lancaster Farming is seeking a results-driven Digital Advertising Sales Representative to join our growing team! This role is ideal for a motivated digital media sales professional with experience in online advertising, digital marketing strategy, and customer account management—especially within agriculture, agribusiness, or rural-focused markets.

As a Digital Advertising Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing client relationships, and developing customized digital advertising solutions. You will work closely with advertisers to create targeted campaigns across email marketing, programmatic display, social media, SEO, PPC (paid search), video advertising, and digital audio platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital ad sales, understands key performance metrics, and is comfortable providing strategic support to both internal sales teams and clients. Experience in media sales, marketing analytics, campaign performance tracking, and CRM tools is essential.

This position is salary based plus commission!

As we continue to evolve in the digital age, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Advertising Sales Representative to join our team.

1. Digital Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify and engage new advertising prospects in the agriculture industry , agribusiness , and rural-based markets .
  • Leverage digital marketing tools and research to uncover qualified leads and stay ahead of industry and competitor trends.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track prospects and sales funnel activity.

2. Client Relationship Management & Account Growth

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with current and potential clients through excellent communication and consultative sales strategies.
  • Understand client goals and develop tailored digital advertising solutions that meet or exceed their marketing objectives.
  • Provide ongoing customer support and campaign performance insights to reinforce value and retention.

3. Digital Sales Presentations & Proposal Development

  • Create persuasive, data-driven proposals and multichannel media kits using tools like PowerPoint or Canva.
    Present comprehensive digital advertising packages including Google Ads , email marketing , social media advertising , display ads , and programmatic solutions .
    Educate clients on best practices and the ROI of digital campaigns.

4. Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Partner with internal Ad Operations Specialists to launch, manage, and monitor active digital campaigns.
  • Track campaign performance metrics (CTR, impressions, conversions) and optimize to improve results using platforms like Google Analytics , Meta Ads Manager , or DSP dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely delivery of all ad assets and reports.

5. Revenue Generation & Upselling

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales quotas and digital revenue goals .
  • Identify and pursue upsell opportunities by analyzing client needs and offering add-on services such as retargeting , native ads , or video advertising .
  • Contribute to the company’s long-term growth strategy through new business development.

6. Reporting, Analytics & Strategy

  • Deliver performance reports highlighting campaign ROI , audience engagement, and KPIs.
  • Use data insights to refine future campaign strategies and improve client retention.
  • Work with the team to develop marketing analytics reports and presentations for client meetings.

7. Digital Content Collaboration & Innovation

  • Collaborate with the Editorial and Marketing teams to create new digital products and sponsored content opportunities (e.g., newsletters, native ads, custom content, podcasts).
  • Help promote and monetize editorial content via branded content , email sponsorships , and digital display ad placements .
  • Contribute ideas for new revenue-generating content formats that appeal to advertisers.
Requirements:
