The Role We are looking to add experienced Freight Agents into our existing agent network. Since 1952, Refrigerated Food Express (REFE) has been our asset division delivering elite customer service direct to shippers. In our brokerage division - RFX - agents have the ability to provide unique solutions directly through our REFE assets and/or through RFX brokered services. As an agent of RFX, you are a part of the TEAM! Rooted in over 70 years of TRUST, you will feel supported to grow your business your way. Our Agents are considered business partners. We offer weekly commission payments, 24/7 back-office support, and exclusive access to our business development team. WE BELIEVE we offer the best Agent experience in the industry. WE TRULY ARE A TEAM - our average Agent tenure is 10+ years and our VP of Agent Relations has been with us for over 50 years! What We Offer We are not saturated with agents. With only 50 agents and less than 250 active shippers, you can go after the large shippers other agencies protect. Competitive commission splits that can exceed industry norms based on margin performance. Weekly pay based on INVOICED shipments - you don't have to wait for the customer to pay us first. We provide a Business Development Rep to our Agents. Over 75,000 FTL carrier partners that are set up and ready to book. 24/7 support for carrier set up, advances, lumper fees, etc. State of the art proprietary TMS technology. Free DAT and ITS as well as company email - we do not nickel and dime you! 100+ years in leadership experience. Recruit and run owner operators/small fleets and/or Sub-Agents. We are SmartWay certified and hold a $250k bond. Work remotely from your home or office. Minimum Requirements Agents must have 2+ years of prior FTL or multiple modes of brokerage experience.. Experience with multiple modes include FTL, LTL, International and Intermodal. Note: Taxes will not be collected. Benefits are not offered for this position.
