Job Description
Giraffe Media Group is seeking motivated undergraduate students for our 12-week in-office financial internship program. This program provides a hands-on opportunity to work with NetSuite and Excel, contributing to critical financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Interns will gain real-world experience in corporate finance, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in variance analysis, identifying key differences between actual vs. projected financials.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts using NetSuite and Excel.
• Contribute to cost analysis and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Participate in financial reporting and data reconciliation.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to enhance financial strategy and efficiency.
Internship Structure
• Weeks 1-2: Onboarding & Training (NetSuite, Excel, Financial Reporting)
• Weeks 3-6: Assigned Projects (Budget/Forecast Variance Analysis, Cost Analysis)
• Weeks 7-10: Mid-Program Review & Leadership Mentorship
• Weeks 11-12: Final Presentations & Career Development Sessions
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
