Overview

Join our Amarillo Grind Plant!

This position is responsible for trouble shooting, maintaining, and repairing company assets; while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to policy, procedure, and OSHA standards. Also overseeing, inspection, scheduled assignments and ensuring efficient use of resources. Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality. Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic information.

• Corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, risk based maintenance, and condition-based maintenance
• Interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Maintain accurate records, files, and reports
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans and specifications
• Construct, install, replace, repair general company assets, and other utility installation or repair
• Identify and problem solve with minimal assistance
• Experience to include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, lawn care and landscaping, general maintenance of tools and equipment
• Basic computer skills, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and administrative and organizational skills

• Clean grounds, snow removal, daily upkeep, repair, and installation activities
• Reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances
• Perform skilled painting work in the preparation, patching, finishing, and maintaining of interior and exterior surfaces
• General maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems
• Maintenance to include all measures to preserve the target condition and therefore to prevent damage.
• Ordering and acquiring materials needed for repairs
• Window door repair, repairing holes in walls, basic domestic plumbing
• Inspections and rectifying remedial works
• Fulfill varied administration and auditing requirements
• Completing assigned work orders for general repair within assigned time frame
• Aid in the upkeep of property and assets in the established proactive maintenance program to prevent malfunctions, breakdowns, and general depreciation
• Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by management

• Minimum 1 year experience in general maintenance or equivalent trade required
• Valid driver's license required
• Physical requirements and work preforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel' and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is frequently required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
