Our extensive range of experience includes industrial, commercial, large mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare, education, municipal and multi- and single-family residential projects. From large-scale industrial projects to preliminary feasibility studies, our goal is to provide value through creative and cost-effective design solutions. We currently have 4 locations across Texas and growing: Houston, The Woodlands, Austin and San Antonio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct wetland delineations and stream assessments with adherence to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers procedures and protocols.
  • Perform field surveys that consist of habitat evaluations for federally listed threatened and endangered species and/or other potentially sensitive resources.
  • Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM standards, identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and prepare technical reports.
  • Perform desktop studies and coordinate with resource agencies to identify project related environmental constraints (TPWD, USFWS, TCEQ, and others).
  • Assist with regulatory permitting and compliance under NEPA, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, RCRA, CERCLA, and other local, state, and federal environmental laws.
  • Supporting and leading field work, including waters delineations, habitat assessments, and vegetation mapping.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits for environmental compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of technical documents, including environmental reports, permit applications, environmental impact assessments data, and related materials for compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and advise clients accordingly.
  • Serving as a technical resource and coordinating workload throughout project development to complete deliverables on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate field notes, logs, and chain-of-custody documentation.
  • Lead multiple project tasks or projects across simultaneous assignments for both private and public clients across multiple sectors.
  • Assist clients with permit coordination, acquisition, compliance, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze environmental data and contribute to GIS mapping and modeling efforts.
  • Assist with interpretation of lab results and preparation of summary figures and tables.
  • Support civil engineering teams in integrating environmental solutions into design and construction phases.
  • Participate in public meetings, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory consultations as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and project-specific safety plans during fieldwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software (ArcGIS preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams, both internal and external.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Experience with wetlands delineations, habitat assessments, and environmental site assessments.
