Amentum is seeking an Enterprise Architect - SME to join our team of passionate individuals in Washington, DC . In this role you will support challenging, missioncritical projects that make a direct impact on the Nations security and intelligence mission.

You will be working in an organization whose mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.

The Enterprise Architect (SME) is part of a team that will lead largescale data analysis projects to design and deliver onpremises and cloudbased applications. The SME is responsible for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining enterpriseclass systems and processes to support mission needs and developing the baseline and target architecture for a production environment.

The SME will align standards and frameworks with overall business and technology strategy, identify design gaps in existing and proposed architecture, and recommend changes and/or enhancements to ensure stability, interoperability, portability, and/or scalability of system architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and implement, and maintain enterpriseclass systems and processes to support mission needs and develop the baseline and target architecture for a production environment.
• Align standards and frameworks with overall business and technology strategy.
• Identify design gaps in existing and proposed architecture and recommend changes and/or enhancements to ensure stability, interoperability, portability, and/or scalability of system architecture.
• Provide technical and management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert with exceptional qualifications and highly unique expertise.
• Initiate, supervise, or develop requirements from a projects inception to conclusion for complex or extremely complex programs; provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff; provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts for clientspecific or missioncritical challenges/issues; consult with client to define need or problem; supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
• Make decisions and apply domain knowledge that may have a critical impact on overall project implementation; may supervise others.
• Minimum of 10 years experience recommended; certifications or past work may be used in lieu of experience.

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience with 10 years of related technical specialized experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
• In absence of a degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Pay Transparency Verbiage

The base salary range for this position is $196K to $207K . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all U.S. locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including jobrelated skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
