We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and dedicated Permanent Director of Project Management to join our team in the Construction industry. This individual will play a pivotal role in steering the direction and success of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. A successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a particular focus on plumbing systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
• Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and procedures, ensuring all projects align with company objectives and industry standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project progression.
• Manage and supervise project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring all resources are available as needed.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring projects stay within budget and timeline.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on plumbing systems.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
