Job Title – Citrix Developer Location – Washington, DC (Onsite/Hybrid) (Onsite – 3 Days a week at Client Site) Type – Contract Mandatory Skills: App-V, Windows MSIX, Windows Server, Application-Packaging-Flexera-Admin Studio, Citrix Xenapp-Xendesktop Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for various technical aspects of Citrix including Citrix DaaS, Analytics, Machine Creation Service, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Hosted Desktops, Citrix FSLogix Profile Management, Workspace Environment Management, Citrix Policies, NetScaler Gateway, Load Balancing, GSLB, Citrix ADM, Storefront, Multisite aggregations, vSphere. Implement, manage, and support Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktop, Citrix Cloud, Citrix NetScaler ADC, ADM, and Citrix WEM environments. Perform routine maintenance of the Citrix system, including end-user support, creating and maintaining golden images, working with Advanced Group Policy Management, and setup/configuration/debugging of Citrix components. Provide technical support and assistance to Systems Analysts, Engineers, and other technical staff. Resolve Tier II and III escalated issues, including printing, profile management, redirections, and application troubleshooting. Document, communicate, and enforce policies for securing and standardizing systems infrastructure and software. Lead as a consultative resource. Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to support customers across multiple time zones. Ensure configuration and change management processes are followed. Author documentation for infrastructure support and procedures. Possess knowledge of hypervisor VMware (6567 and newer versions). Interface with Architect and Engineering teams to develop technical schematics, design specifications, installation qualifications, and test plans. Write Windows PowerShell and VB scripts to automate routine admin tasks. Monitor and gather metrics on end-user logon experiences in Citrix environments. Complete assigned ad hoc projects and tasks. Knowledge of enterprise patch management applications such as SCCM and Ivanti. Experience with Citrix DaaS, Virtual Apps and Desktops (715 LTSR and newer). Familiarity with Citrix Studio, Director, Storefront, MCS, PVS. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy. Experience with Windows Server (2012-2022) and Windows 10/11. Knowledge of VMWare vSphere, ESXi, and Microsoft Azure.
