High Country Search Group has been retained to conduct a search for the President and CEO of a nonprofit organization in Upstate New York. Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for leading the organization’s culture, strategy, and financial health. This role focuses on creating an inclusive, mission-driven workplace that supports employee development and well-being. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Board on strategic planning, representing the organization within the community, building relationships with stakeholders, funders, and policymakers, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The CEO will also oversee financial planning and controls to drive sustainable growth aligned with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a strong experience in financial analysis and market dynamics. Deep leadership and management experience is required along with experience in the non-profit, mission-oriented OR healthcare space.
