Job Description – CDL Driver (Albion, IN)
A leading manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets is seeking a CDL Driver for its manufacturing facility in Albion, IN .
Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, this organization operates manufacturing and distribution locations across the U.S. and Canada. Utilizing advanced robotics, precision welding equipment, and automated machining processes, the company continues to thrive through a strong commitment to quality , continuous improvement , and exceptional customer service .
CDL Short Haul – Job Responsibilities:This role involves performing various routine and complex transportation-related duties, including but not limited to:
Locating staged axles for loading
Assisting with and preparing orders for shipment
Loading and/or unloading trucks
Auditing loads for accuracy against orders
Strapping loads securely to the trailer
Assisting in planning efficient delivery routes
Delivering products to various locations
Picking up raw materials for production
Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
Reporting defects or required repairs to supervisors
Keeping transportation equipment clean and in proper working order
Ensuring compliance with all safety and security standards
Must hold and maintain a Class A CDL
3 years of flatbed driving experience preferred (but not required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
