We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our team!

We are looking for someone passionate about service and who loves to share that passion by going above and beyond for customers. You are looking to join a hard-working and efficient team that cares about great food, drinks, and customer experience.

To be successful as a Bar Manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. It would be best if you were someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking food and beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail and in a timely manner.
  • Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations.
  • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons.
  • Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
  • Manage food/beverage cost, cash management, and maintain inventory.
  • Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and other accessories.
  • Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Organizing the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
  • Creating unique drinks.
  • Complying with all food and beverage regulations.
  • Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior.
  • Full use of Partender including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
  • Have strong knowledge of health code, responsible alcohol service, computer operations and time management.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Previous experience as a bartender (Minimum of 4 years)
  • Previous management experience (Minimum 3 years)
  • Extensive knowledge of drinks, recipes, mixing and garnishing.
  • Have strong knowledge of health code, responsible alcohol service, computer operations and time management.
  • Positive attitude, personable demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (Kegs).
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and observational skills; Conflict resolution, computer literacy, and attention to detail.
  • Relevant training certifications or willingness to obtain (TABC and ServSafe).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
