Job Description
Role: Android Developer
Hire Type: Fulltime - Permanent
Work Location: San Leandro, CA - Onsite
The client is looking for an Android Developer to grow with our dev team! The ideal candidate should have experience working within a financial organization and demonstrate an understanding of its complexities. Experience with digital platforms, distributed systems, and Cloud technologies is also essential.
Responsibilities: Design and develop Android applications
Perform unit testing
Collaborate within an agile development environment
Communicate with clients and coordinate with offshore teams
Generate necessary artefacts and contribute to project management
Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software development, including architecting, designing, and developing Android applications
5+ years of experience with Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack
5+ years of experience in mobile solutions engineering
Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1, or both
Strong skills in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting projects
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
Knowledge of application and web security principles
Understanding of performance analysis and tuning for applications
