Overview Role : ServiceNow Developer Client : DC govt Location : Washington, D.C (Onsite) Responsibilities As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Maintain and perform continual service improvements for modules including ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements. Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases. Perform operational administrative tasks as needed. Assist with report configuration and maintenance as needed. Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems. Design/Develop ServiceNow Forms and Tables as well as Modules. Develop Workflow/Flow designs to drive approvals and process lifecycle. Design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs with advanced scripting (including CMS/Service Portal). Design, create, and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow. Best Practices and Governance: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, agency security guidelines, governance policies, and maintain an as close to out-of-the-box environment as possible. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification highly desired. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development of the modules listed above. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Possess in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow architecture and scripting. Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
